  1. [..YouTube..] I’m about to buy a new tablet.I am really torn between Intuos4, Wacom 12WX and a Tablet PC (Toshiba R15 Satellite)I really don’t know which should I chose. I’m a concept artist, So I do really detailed and big works.

  2. [..YouTube..] I don’t know if I should get a Medium or Large. Never used a tablet before… want to know if a Large is even necessary.

  3. [..YouTube..] I’m about to buy an Intuos… If I was rich I’d definitely get the Centiq though.

  4. [..YouTube..] I was gonna buy a bamboo pen one but it looks really inaccurate. What do you lot think?

  5. [..YouTube..] Thanks for this review, Im now going to purchase this for my 3D modeling/animation work. I was very skeptical, but actually seeing a video of it confirms it.

  6. [..YouTube..] lol he said a little bit more $700 is not a little bit more , its a lot more, and 3 weeks wage for me (im a college student and thats including educational re- seller price) im going for the intuos 4

  7. [..YouTube..] Thanks for this review (part 1 – 4!), it immediately saved me £100 as I had convinced myself to get the large version of the tablet before watching this. The different perspectives from the different types of artist were very helpful, this is just a great all round series of videos. Thanks very much, your efforts are most appreciated.

  9. [..YouTube..] are all the nibs the same? I mean does it work for all of Wacom tablets? not just Intuos…

  10. [..YouTube..] @innomind im so jealous, send it to me plz: artist with no money here :) :P

  11. [..YouTube..] I’m intending to get on of these, but forums say that the new surface of the tablet eats nibs, like in a matter of weeks. So i’m not really sure whether to get this, but the tablet does look much better than the intuos 3.Whats your opinion on the nib wear issue?

First of all I would like to start out by saying that my first venture into owning a tablet was the older style Wacom Bamboo. I wanted something for working with the Adobe CS-4 Suite. Almost right after I bought the bamboo I was wishing for the Intuos3, this was a year before the Intuos4 was released. In hind sight I am glad I did wait for the Intuos4 because it is far superior to the earlier model in so many ways, and now they have a cordless version which should please many artist who didn’t like the USB cord, which for me is not even an issue and I wouldn’t even consider changing. I do have to admit that the Centiq is the flag ship of the Wacom product line, however, I still have my original Bamboo and it works great for a laptop if you’re like me and hate their touch pads. It’s really not a bad product for the price, and if you can get one of the older styles in the large size, and it’s less than an Intuos3, then you might be better off especially if you’ve never owned one before and you’re not a professional artist. Also the nibs do wear faster on the Intuos4 due to the paper like finish, but I’ve seen some videos on You Tube where people taped something on top of the writing surface, and for people that like to see what their drawing, I also remember seeing something about an nib you could get that has ink and you can buy this paper to put on your tablet, so when you draw you can see it on paper and on the monitor. I maybe wrong, but I think you can also erase the paper and it does the same on the digital copy as well. I didn’t look on Wacom’s site to see if they still sell it, but if you have to use paper, then that would be the way to go, no worring about scanning or damaging the paper. Well I hope this helps anyone that might still be on the fence as to whether or not to buy a tablet or which one, and by the way don’t even bother with any other manufacture, because I did about three months of research just on deciding my little bamboo, and another two months on my Intuos4. Wacom is by far the industry standard for tablets and their customer service is fantastic. Not that I’ve ever had to use them, but I did call several times to ask about features and a whole lot of other questions and they never once were rude to me, and as you can tell from this post, I can talk for a good while.

  19. [..YouTube..] I see you mustachioed man ;)

  20. [..YouTube..] Best review of Wacom!Im classic animator / 2d artist and using Intuos4 M.

  21. [..YouTube..] @innomind sadly, but in US version only

  22. [..YouTube..] Why is he always comparing the intuos with the cintiq, !the cintiq price is like ten times the intuos for for christ sake!

  23. [..YouTube..] This looks like union square :P hmmm,,,,,,

  24. [..YouTube..] This review was excellent and I watched through the whole thing. But personally I think the intuos4 was priced better than the Intuos3 when the Intuos3 of the similar size came out. People will always complain because how can you beat the price of a 50 cent pencil and a 3 dollar sketchpad?

  25. [..YouTube..] How long is the usb cable on that thing? That would be useful info to me, thanks.

  26. [..YouTube..] This is an awesome review – truly making it worth it for Wacom to have sent you their device. I havent watched all the parts yet- so i am not sure you will answer al of my questions, but I am impressed by the obviously large amount of effort you put in!

  27. [..YouTube..] @innomind can i have it now that your done with the review?

  28. [..YouTube..] @innomind I bought one :) but no bluetoothit is good :)

  29. [..YouTube..] wow..the pen tablet is soo cool.hope that i will have it soon.

  30. [..YouTube..] Wodka? it’s Vod.
